Brian is President and Chief Executive Officer of Limetree Bay Ventures, and is responsible for leading the combined refinery and terminal organizations. Brian was initially an advisor on the restart project and previously held various leadership roles at Hess, including President and Chief Operating Officer for HOVENSA where he was responsible for operations of the Refinery from 2011 to 2013.
Brian began his career with Conoco in 1979 as a process engineer at the Humber Refinery in the U.K. He held a number of positions in the Technical Services and Operations Departments in the U.K. and U.S. before becoming Manager Refinery ventures in 1991. He was appointed Refinery Manager at the Commerce City, CO refinery in 1998. Following the merger between Conoco and Phillips in 2003 he moved to Borger, TX as Refinery Manager. A native of Bolton, U.K., Brian earned a Bachelor of Science honors degree in chemical engineering from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
Jeff is Senior Vice President of Limetree Bay Terminals and brings over 40 years of deep experience as a leader in the midstream space focused on safe and efficient, customer-oriented operations and managing large-scale merchant terminals. He brings experience in adding value to existing assets by focusing on growth strategies, safety, compliance and creating shareholder value. Prior to joining Limetree Bay, Jeff spent almost 18 years with Kinder Morgan, and most recently was the General Manager for their Gulf Bulk Terminals, their national ethanol business, and their Houston Ship Channel bulk liquids terminals. In his early career, he held various roles in Operations, Maintenance and Commercial with Gulf, Chevron and Buckeye Partners. Jeffrey holds a BS in Management from DeSales University and an MBA from Kutztown University.
Bob serves as Senior Vice President of Limetree Bay Refining and possesses deep operational and leadership experience promoting safe, compliant, reliable execution and operating efficiency for the Refinery. Over his 40 year career, Bob has served as VP, Salt Lake City Refinery at Andeavor, and also as VP, Technical where he led the process technical resources that supported Andeavor Refining and Logistics in the areas of Refining Process Technologies, Hydrocarbon Loss Control, Product and Crude Quality, Process Design for major projects, Linear Programming, and Process Controls. Bob previously held various roles in operations, project and maintenance management, safety, and business development primarily at BP and Amoco. Bob holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from University of Illinois at Chicago.
Ryan is Vice President of Health, Safety and Environmental and has over 23 years of experience in the downstream petroleum sector. He has worked extensively in corporate, refining and logistics leadership roles. Prior to joining Limetree Bay, Ryan was Director, Federal Regulatory Affairs for Marathon Petroleum and Tesoro and previously served as the Director, Environmental, Health and Safety for Tesoro Logistics. Earlier in his career, he held various positions of increasing management responsibility with ConocoPhillips, Flint Hills Resources, Valero and their predecessor companies. Ryan holds a BS in Safety Management from Indiana State University and a MS in Environmental Management from the Stuart School of Business at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Forgan serves as Chief Financial Officer and has over 10 years of energy industry experience primarily focused on finance, M&A, and commercial development. Most recently, Forgan served as Senior Vice President, Commercial and Corporate Development at JP Energy Partners, where he was responsible for mergers, acquisitions, large capital projects, as well as P&L leadership of JP Energy’s refined product terminals business. Prior to JP Energy, Forgan was a member of Barclays’ Global Power & Utilities investment banking team, where he participated in nearly $9 billion of energy M&A and financings. From 2000 to 2008, Forgan held various positions of increasing responsibility at early to mid-stage energy, technology, and healthcare growth companies. Forgan received his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Bates College.
Jodi serves as Vice President of Human Resources and has over 30 years of Human Resources organizational development, operations and project management experience. Most recently, Jodi served as Head of HR for Cameron LNG where she was responsible for HR activities for Terminal and EPC activities, as well as HR operations readiness for new export operations. Jodi began her human resources career at Accenture where she held a number of roles before serving as Director of HR for several emerging businesses, largely focused on talent management, developing governance, and culture development. Subsequently, Jodi provided critical HR expertise in organizational development and building the HR function for Anadarko’s Mozambique LNG project, its first LNG and international operation. Jodi holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from Lamar University.
David is Limetree Bay’s General Counsel and brings 20 years of legal expertise focused in energy related transactional and litigation practices. David spent his early career in civil litigation at Griggs & Harrison, at Westmorland Hall Mains & Lugrin, P.C., as an Associate working energy related subrogation litigation, and with Strasburger & Price as a Senior Associate. In 2006, he joined Total Petrochemicals & Refining USA, Inc. as a Senior Attorney providing transactional and litigation management support for the refining and petrochemical division. David later accepted a position with SNC-Lavalin as Senior Vice President Legal, Oil and Gas where he managed a team of 16 legal professional supporting global operations. David holds a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and International Business from Trinity University.
Ryan serves as Commercial Vice President, Limetree Bay Refining. He brings 20 years of experience gained during his tenure at BP through various Technical, Operations and Commercial roles. As Senior Crude Oil Originator he was responsible for identifying, negotiating and executing pipeline transportation agreements, terminal storage contracts and long term crude oil purchases directly from producers in multiple basins in the United States. As an originator Ryan served as the lead for 3rd party refining supply and offtake transactions for BP. He also held roles as Crude Asset Trader for the Texas City Refinery where he was responsible for the buying and selling of 450,000 bpd of crude and black oil for the refinery, and several process engineering roles at both BP’s Texas City Refinery, and its Castellon Refinery in Spain before becoming the Refinery Operations Coordinator for the Texas City Refinery. Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University, and actively serves as a member of the Texas Tech University Chemical Engineering Advisory Board.
