Jeff is the Chief Executive Officer of Limetree Bay Energy, LLC, and is responsible for leading the Company’s combined refinery and terminal organizations. Jeff brings over 30 years of experience in the refining and petrochemicals industry. Most recently, he served as the Executive Vice President of Downstream and Midstream for Husky Energy. There he was responsible for leadership of Husky’s five refineries and upgraders, pipeline and storage terminals business, oil and products trading activities and a network of around 500 gas stations.
Prior to joining Husky Energy in 2017, Jeff spent 11 years at the Vienna-based OMV, where he was responsible for the Romanian refining and petrochemicals business. Jeff also managed supply and logistics across 13 countries in central and eastern Europe, before heading Mergers and Acquisitions for OMV. Earlier, he held various roles of increasing responsibilities at BP. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He is married to Andrea and enjoys traveling and hiking in the mountains with his wife when he’s not working.
Neil is the Refinery General Manager for Limetree Bay Refining. His career spans more than 30 years in the energy industry, most notably in international refining, project management and manufacturing leadership. He has a documented track record of performance improvement across various technical and financial roles. Most recently, Mr. Morgan served as Senior Vice President of Downstream Manufacturing for Husky Energy, where he was responsible for operations of four refineries and upgraders. Prior to that, Mr. Morgan served as Executive Board Member, Downstream Oil Division, for OMV Petrom, where he oversaw the Petrobrazi Modernization Project, a multi-year greenfield and brownfield project. On the retail side of the business, Mr. Morgan was instrumental in repositioning OMV Petrom’s brands and initiating partnerships with several retail chains. Mr. Morgan earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Salford, Manchester, U.K.
Jeff is Senior Vice President of Limetree Bay Terminals and brings over 40 years of deep experience as a leader in the midstream space focused on safe and efficient, customer-oriented operations and managing large-scale merchant terminals. He brings experience in adding value to existing assets by focusing on growth strategies, safety, compliance and creating shareholder value. Prior to joining Limetree Bay, Jeff spent almost 18 years with Kinder Morgan, and most recently was the General Manager for their Gulf Bulk Terminals, their national ethanol business, and their Houston Ship Channel bulk liquids terminals. In his early career, he held various roles in Operations, Maintenance and Commercial with Gulf, Chevron and Buckeye Partners. Jeffrey holds a BS in Management from DeSales University and an MBA from Kutztown University.
Steve serves as the Chief Financial Officer and his career spans more than 20 years of finance experience with a focus on capital markets, financial planning, risk management, investor relations, and strategy. Most recently, he served as the Chief Financial Officer for EagleClaw Midstream Ventures, a large-scale integrated midstream operator in the Delaware Basin, and during his extensive career has served as a financial leader for companies including Andeavor (formerly Tesoro) and J.P. Morgan. Mr. Tompsett earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin.
Mark serves as Limetree Bay’s General Counsel and Secretary, and brings more than 18 years’ of legal expertise to the Company, with almost 17 years of experience focused almost exclusively in the energy industry. Mark joins us from PBF Energy, where he served as the Assistant General Counsel, Commercial & Refining and provided support in all legal areas to PBF’s east coast refineries, while also supporting PBF’s commercial, credit and rail groups. Earlier in his career, Mark served in various roles for Exxon Mobil Corporation, including several years as Refinery Attorney for ExxonMobil’s Baton Rouge Refinery and associated facilities. Subsequent to working at ExxonMobil, Mark served as Assistant General Counsel, Commercial Aviation for World Fuel Services, where he managed a multinational team of attorneys, paralegals, and contract attorneys and was responsible for its multi-billion dollar aviation division. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Thomas Edison State College, and a Juris Doctor from George Mason University.
Ryan serves as Commercial Vice President, Limetree Bay Refining. He brings 20 years of experience gained during his tenure at BP through various Technical, Operations and Commercial roles. As Senior Crude Oil Originator he was responsible for identifying, negotiating and executing pipeline transportation agreements, terminal storage contracts and long term crude oil purchases directly from producers in multiple basins in the United States. As an originator Ryan served as the lead for 3rd party refining supply and offtake transactions for BP. He also held roles as Crude Asset Trader for the Texas City Refinery where he was responsible for the buying and selling of 450,000 bpd of crude and black oil for the refinery, and several process engineering roles at both BP’s Texas City Refinery, and its Castellon Refinery in Spain before becoming the Refinery Operations Coordinator for the Texas City Refinery. Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University, and actively serves as a member of the Texas Tech University Chemical Engineering Advisory Board.
Tarah serves as the Director of Human Resources, Training and Government Affairs and has over 20 years of HR experience in the energy industry. She has a documented record for improving and automating HR processes and developing HR information and compensation systems. Tarah played a key role and was instrumental in the start-up of Limetree Bay Terminals and later Limetree Bay Refining. Prior to Limetree Bay, she led the HR department and served as the Public Information Officer for HOVENSA. Tarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Science from Spelman College and a Master of Science in HR Management and Administration from Central Michigan University.
