Limetree Bay Ventures’ continued development of the terminal activities in St. Croix drive economic stimulus and tax revenue for local government, increasing the opportunities available to many U.S. Virgin Islanders that have suffered significant losses during the 2017 hurricane season.

Deeply committed to its community, Limetree Bay Ventures dedicates considerable resources to support the local economy and its neighbors while minimizing the impact of the facility’s operations on the environment. As stewards of Limetree Bay’s culture, our employees are part of the Sea Turtle Assistance and Rescue (STAR) team. STAR members are permitted by the Virgin Islands Department of Natural Resources (DPNR) to assist endangered sea turtles. Limetree Bay employees and the STAR team bring together professionals from the National Park Service, USFWS, DPNR, Coral World, St. Croix Environmental Association, National Marine Fisheries Service, University of the Virgin Islands, and The Nature Conservancy. Many Limetree Bay employees donate time to help with rescue events and to educate the community on environmental stewardship.
